Samuel Kane - Author
A native of Colorado, Samuel Kane lives and works as a high school English teacher in New Orleans, Louisiana. He studied at the University of New Orleans and earned a degree in English. When he isn’t grading papers or creating lesson plans, Kane enjoys traveling, backpacking, and spending time with his wife and sons.
The Pilgrim’s Soul This work is the first in a three-part series that addresses the nature of human consciousness and experience, and explores how immortality can impact the psyche. Literature has the unique ability to plumb the depths of topics that we as human beings are scared to explore, and bring hope to the experiences that appear to be the most dire.

To exist is to suffer, as many believe, but it is my opinion that a great book, a moving story, can ease that suffering, can place a balm upon the burn that is the human condition.
